Chapter 01

Overview

The task was to develop a complete corporate design for a fictional company. As part of the project, I was required to choose a business niche and create a company name. I developed „Holzora,“ a carpentry and furniture company aimed at a younger audience, offering a wide selection of modern furniture. The project included designing a cohesive visual identity across various media, such as posters, magazine layouts, letterheads, business cards, and other branding materials.

Chapter 02

Name Idea.

The company name „Holzora“ was created by combining the German word „Holz“ (wood) with the Italian word „ora“ (time). Both parts of the name reflect important aspects of the brand identity. „Holz“ directly references the company’s focus on carpentry and furniture craftsmanship, while „ora“ emphasizes the time and dedication required to create each piece by hand. Every product is carefully crafted, and the concept of time plays a key role in achieving a high-quality result.

In addition to conveying the company’s values, the name was designed to appeal to a younger audience. While „Holz“ establishes a connection to traditional woodworking, the modern-sounding ending „ora“ gives the brand a fresh and contemporary character, helping it feel more approachable and distinctive.

Chapter 03

Execution.

Building on the logo and brand color palette, I created a cohesive corporate identity across a range of brand touchpoints, including:

  • Campaign Posters + Newspaper Advertisment

  • Business Cards

  • Magazine Layout & design

  • Business Equipment design (A4, Kuverts, Stamp)
